Who is behind Gala Events?

Gala Events was founded by Nicat and Luiza Balayev, who have been in the industry since 2018. Today we are a team of 10+ professionals who communicate fluently in Czech, English, and German. During our time in business, we have successfully delivered over 1,000 events for private and corporate clients such as Toyota, Samsung, and CSOB.

How does ordering work at Gala Events?

Choose services from the catalog, add them to the inquiry cart, and submit a non-binding inquiry. Within 24 hours, we will confirm availability and send you a quote with the exact price.

Do I pay anything online?

We do not accept payments directly on the website. We work on an invoicing basis. After confirming the date, we issue a deposit invoice, and the balance is usually settled after the event.

When is the deposit due?

A 30% deposit is paid upon binding reservation of the date. This ensures that equipment and staff are blocked exclusively for you.

Can I change or cancel my order after submitting?

Yes. Minor adjustments and order details can be discussed with us anytime before the event. Major changes (e.g., date shift or venue change) must be reported at least 48 hours in advance. In case of full cancellation less than 30 days before the event, the 30% deposit is non-refundable.

How far in advance should I order?

We recommend at least 2-4 weeks in advance. For large events (100+ guests) or during peak season (last quarter), ideally 1-3 months ahead.

Can we meet before ordering to discuss the event?

Absolutely. We are happy to arrange a short online meeting (Google Meet/Zoom) or meet in person for coffee in Prague. Together we will go through your ideas and suggest an optimal combination of services.

Is the price on the website binding?

Catalog prices are starting prices. The final calculation may vary based on rental duration or distance. We always confirm the exact amount in writing beforehand.

How does delivery work?

We handle delivery with our own vehicles from our warehouse in Prague. Free within 50 km, beyond 50 km the price is calculated by distance. For orders over CZK 20,000, delivery is free throughout the Czech Republic.

How much does installation and operation cost?

Standard installation takes approximately 45-60 minutes and is always included in the service price. The same applies to the presence of our operator throughout the event. Installation surcharges only apply to specific large-format decorations, which we always inform you about in the quote.

Do you offer discounts for larger orders?

Yes. We have a loyalty program for repeat clients (SILVER PARTNER from CZK 100,000 turnover, GOLD PARTNER from CZK 300,000). Additionally, we regularly prepare discount coupons for current offers in the client portal.

What do you need from us (or the venue) on the event day?

For a smooth process, we typically need parking for a van as close to the unloading area as possible and access to the premises 2-3 hours before the event starts for timely installation. Access to the power supply (230V) is required only for specific equipment (photo booths, lights). We discuss all requirements with you and the venue manager in advance.

What services do you offer?

We offer over 20 services in 4 categories: Photo (4 types of photo booths, professional and roaming photographer), Video (360 video booth, AI video booth, videographer, Reels Maker, drone footage), Decorations (balloons, flowers, neon signs, light decorations, sequin panels, photo walls), and Special Effects (cold sparks, fog, confetti, bubbles). Do you provide operation staff and technical personnel?

Yes, always. We provide professional staff for every service throughout the event. Our technician handles installation, operation, and disassembly. We do not rent equipment without staff -- this guarantees smooth operation and service quality.

Will you customize services to our corporate branding?

Yes. Photo booths, photo walls, printed materials, and digital outputs are customized to your visual style -- logo on the photo wall, frames in corporate colors, custom backgrounds and characters for the AI photo booth.

Yes. Our equipment is adapted for outdoor events -- photo booths work under a tent or canopy, drone footage is ideal for open-air events. For some services (photo booths, light decorations), we need access to a power outlet (230V) and a covered space for the equipment.

Do you do events in the EU?

Yes, we operate throughout Europe. We have delivered events in 10 countries including Germany, Austria, Slovakia, France, the Netherlands, and Hungary. We have international insurance and a team that speaks English and German.

How does international delivery work?

For international events, we calculate delivery individually based on distance and logistics requirements. We always transparently communicate the exact price in advance in our quote. We handle complete international logistics and smooth transfer of equipment and team to the venue.

Does your staff speak English?
